Camping is available at Yellowjacket Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Clear Creek Trail. Camas Creek is a perfect whitewater spot in close proximity to Glacier Lake, and the Bighorn Crags towers over Glacier Lake. Glacier Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. So many entertaining things to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not enough time. You could also take a look at Gooseneck Lake since       you're here at Glacier Lake; it's nearby, and a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Panther Creek. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Ship Island Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Glacier Lake; Waterfall Trail is a glorious local trail, and a magnificent spot to camp here at Glacier Lake is Crags Campground.
