These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Camping at Crags Campground is always a glorious experience, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Glacier Lake; Ship Island Trail is a perfect local trail. Glacier Lake gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Take a hike on the Clear Creek       Trail, and paddling on Panther Creek is so much fun. One of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Glacier Lake is Bighorn Crags, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Waterfall Trail. Through the summer months here at Glacier Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime                  temperatures at Glacier Lake plunge into the 0's. This place is peerless, just explore all the amusing things to do right next door to Glacier Lake. A good place to camp here at Glacier Lake is Yellowjacket Campground; the landscape is dominated by the Bighorn Crags. You just have to go for the Salmon River Mountains.
