Going for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and float down the rapids of Salmon River - Yankee Fork in a kayak. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Glacier Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Marshall Creek Campground is a great local campground; lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look       at Born Lakes. It is very dried out here at Glacier Lake typically; December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Sun Valley in the vicinity, and places like Ants Basin are good to take a look at. A nice nearby hotel is Redfish Lake Lodge. If you're here at Glacier Lake, checking out Castle Peak is a must, and you could always explore Windy Devil. All through the summertime                  at Glacier Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 30's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Glacier Lake fall into the-10's.
