A glorious place for whitewater paddling close to Gibson Lakes is Logan River, and nearby you find the Midland Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. High temperatures at Gibson Lakes through the summertime are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Gibson Lakes temperatures descend to       the 10's. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is bountiful here in the Wasatch Range. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Gibson Lakes called the High Line Trail; Gibson Lakes is not the only place nearby, Hidden Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Gibson Lakes. Cloverleaf Campground is a fine campground nearby, and at Gibson Lakes you can spot Andrew Nyman Mountain. Gibson Lakes is a location                  that is quite dry regularly; the month with most of the rain is June while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
