Going for a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail is always a perfect adventure, and good skiing awaits you at Sun Valley. Not much rain falls here at Gentian Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most; July meanwhile is       the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Holman Creek Campground; while you're here at Gentian Lake it's a magnificent idea to explore The Kettles. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Gentian Lake. Gentian Lake is not the only place close by, Boulder Lake is a close by lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful. On a                  gorgeous day you get a panorama of Lee Peak from Gentian Lake, and Chinese Wall is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. A lake nearby is Snow Lake, and do stop by Bighorn Creek while you're here at Gentian Lake. A delightful location next to Gentian Lake is The Gunsight; a wonderful nearby hotel is SnowRun by ResortQuest. During the warm months at Gentian Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's.
