The beauty of Gem Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Gem Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Porcupine Lake Campground is a good place for that. You simply should have a thing about the Cabinet Mountains. A nice close by hotel is Days Inn Sandpoint, and why not take a little visit to Gem Creek if you're here. High temperatures at Gem Lake all through the days of summer are in the 80's

| | with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Gem Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Cabinet Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. visiting mood you can always go to close by Lake Estelle, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a glorious choice. Not far from Gem Lake, you'll find Lake Darling which is a beautiful lake,
and you can go for a hike on the North Fork Trail. If you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Gem Lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kootenai, and there's delightful
hiking along the East Fork Boulder Creek Trail. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains. Don't leave Gem Lake without first going for a hike along the Shertz Trail, and Moose Mountain is
picturesque and can be spotted from here. Gem Lake is pretty dried up generally; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July.

Blue Lake RV Park

Snowcreek Falls, Naples, Idaho. Directions: Go north from Sandpoint on Highway 95 to Naples. Turn left on the old highway 95 and go about 5 miles, passing the Deep Creek Inn. You will cross a railroad crossing, keep following the road until you see a brown Forest Service sign on the right hand side of the road. Turn left off of the old highway 95 and follow the road until it turns to dirt and forms a Y intersection. Take forest service road 402, on the left going up the hill for about 2 miles. There is no definite parking lot, just a pull out near the trail head. (I attached a picture of it). It's beautiful and about a mile hike to the lower and upper falls. Myrtle Creek/Bottleneck Lake and Snow Lake: Hefty views of the Selkirk Crest. Quite a scramble to get to the top for the views, but well worth it. Follow the Snow Creek Road (FS-402) west for about 7 miles to a point just past FS-661, the Cooks Pass Road that runs north to Myrtle Creek. Come to a gate .05 miles.
