  Garland Lakes is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Basin Creek Campground is a nice local campground. Going to Challis National Forest in the neighborhood of Garland Lakes is a great thing to do, and a splendid place to camp here at Garland Lakes is Gold Creek Access Area. While you're here at Garland Lakes you will meet lots of folks from nearby Stanley; while you're here, you could also take a look at striking Yellow Belly Lake.
The Hellroaring
    Creek to Redfish Lake Creek portion has a distance of 12 miles; you come across this bit of whitewater on Salmon River. It's a grade II-III bit.
