The beauty of Gamlin Lake is reason enough to stop by. Don't leave Gamlin Lake without first going for a hike along the Green Mountain Trail, and you should have a look at Anderson Point when you're here. There's delightful hiking along the Shertz Trail, and Garfield Bay Resort is a glorious campground nearby. From a rain point of view Gamlin Lake is a rather typical place; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest.

Inn At Sand Creek is a brilliant place to get some rest, and do explore Mud Lake, it's a delightful lake. If you came for an overnight stay Idaho Country Resort is a good place to camp, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Edgewater Resort is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. Schweitzer is a delightful local ski area.

For the 2009 season, we have a new clubhouse group facility, bathhouse, amphitheater, dock, boat rentals, and 40 RV sites. 14 of them are 50amp fullhookup pull-thrus, 3 huge super sites overlooking the lake, and another 20 partial hookup sites. We also have camping cabins and covered wagons and Wooden pole tents with wooden floors. We also have internet, movie rentals, and sell propane too. This area has tons of hiking, fishing, hunting and canoing/kayaking in the Kootenai River. The Kootenai Wildlife Refuge is 5 miles away and is great to hike around. We have fishing and swimming in our 3 acre lake and have 2 huge Lakeside Firepits.
