Throughout the summer at Gamlin Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Gamlin Lake. A visit to nearby Anderson Point is very relaxing, and Pack River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. Stay the night at Garfield Bay Resort, and       why not take a refreshing hike along the Larch Mountain Trail. Gamlin Lake truly is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. A fine nearby hotel is Best Western Edgewater Resort, and pleasant hiking is available along the Green Mountain Trail. The yearly rain here at Gamlin Lake is about average; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Gamlin Lake is a good place to visit for more than one                  day, Idaho Country Resort is a good place to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Inn At Sand Creek is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
