Go to Gabes Bathtub if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Gabes Bathtub without first going for a hike along the Antelope Trail, and a glorious location for whitewater paddling is Payette River - North Fork. From a precipitation point of view Gabes Bathtub is a quite typical place; January is the wettest month with most snow; July on the other hand is the driest. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Salmon River

| | Mountains is excellent! Wilson Meadows is a great location to stretch your legs a bit, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Payette River - North Fork.
There are good sites to discover along the Gabes Peak Trail, and at Gabes Bathtub you can make out Gabes Peak. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Go for a hike on the West Mountain | |

warm months here at Gabes Bathtub, high temperatures frequently get into the 90's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Gabes Bathtub.
The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
