Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Frog Lake is one of them. Going for a hike on the Three Blaze Trail is always a delightful adventure. Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Stay the night at Whitewater Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Chamberlain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget to have a look at Lower Trout Creek Meadows while you're here at Frog Lake, and good hiking is available along the Center Mountain

Through the long summer days here at Frog Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Frog Lake. There's so much to do here at Frog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Mallard Creek Campground is a glorious location for that; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered | |

with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River. Frog Lake gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is July.
