Cuban Hill is easy to spot from Freeman Lake; hiking along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail is glorious fun. Summertime at Freeman Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Freeman Lake drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Shearer Lake       in the vicinity of Freeman Lake is a tremendous place to pop by, and Freeman Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Albeni Falls Campground is a great local campground. Why not visit nearby Brier Creek if you're here at Freeman Lake; if you came to camp Old American Kampground is a tremendous site to do that. Priest River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and do take a hike on the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail. So                  many exciting things near Freeman Lake, completely tremendous. Langell Canyon is a good place to stop at near Freeman Lake; after a long day outdoors Post Falls Howard Johnson Express Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two.
