    Do stop by Fourth Of July Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. Fourth Of July Lake is pretty dried up regularly; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Having a tremendous time at Fourth Of July Lake is simple. There's so much to do here at Fourth Of July Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Prairie Campground is a tremendous place for that, and Salmon River is a good whitewater  
   spot close by.
Lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Born Lakes close to Fourth Of July Lake, and Clarion Inn Ketchum is a tremendous place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fourth Of July Lake has to offer, you can camp at Marshall Creek Campground, and if you're hooked on cool geologic marks try Patterson Peak. At Fourth Of July Lake throughout the long summer days highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours
 
               of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Fourth Of July Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's.
Sun Valley is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Fourth Of July Lake; Yellow Belly Trail is a perfect local trail. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River - Yankee Fork, and the summit of Blackman Peak can be distinguished from Fourth Of July Lake. A pleasant location like Ants Basin here at Fourth Of July Lake is too wonderful to miss; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bull Moose Trail.
