You could also stop at Tadpole Lake since you're here at Foremans Reservoir; it's nearby, and going for a hike on the Oregon Trail - South Alternate is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Courtyard Boise West/Meridian is a splendid location to get some rest.  | 17 miles away Went here on 7/11/09. It's about a 20 minute hike (flat ground) to the lake. The water was down about 18'' from full. Weeds in the water up to about 20' from the bank. Big blue gill were caught. A few small smallmouth. Fished from the bank. Would advise taking float tubes for a trip here.... |
