If you come at the right time of year, Camas Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Tyrolean Lodge is a pleasant choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Wood River. You'll       need more than a day to look at everything Floyds Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Bridge Campground. This lake is so wonderful. This is a magnificent region for people who like lakes. Choke Cherry Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Floyds Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Deer Creek Campground is a brilliant place for that. Around Floyds Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of                  the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most, and August is the month with the least moisture. Horse Mountain can be observed from Floyds Reservoir, and do visit Dry Wash Dam while you're here. At Floyds Reservoir during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's.
