     This lake is one of the great places here in the Clearwater Mountains. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Flea Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the summer highs here at Flea Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs  
   in the 30's with temperatures at Flea Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
Flea Lake is not the only site nearby, Louse Lake is a nearby lake, and Flea Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Fog Mountain Campground is a fine local campground. Just can't get enough of the Clearwater Mountains. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Flea Lake. Interesting geology is available here; Flea Ridge Point is
 
               right next door to Flea Lake; there are delightful spots to discover along the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Lochsa River; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail. And that's not everything you can do here in the Clearwater Mountains. If you came to camp Gedney Creek Campground is a magnificent spot to do that, and a lake nearby is Chimney Lake. Take a little trip to Chimney Creek if you're here at Flea Lake, and going for a hike on the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
