Fivemile Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Going for a hike on the Tindall Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and you'll meet a lot of people from Mountain Home here. All through the summer at Fivemile Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Fivemile Lake dipping down into the 20's

Fivemile Lake is a location that is reasonably dehydrated generally; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Sheep Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and close by you find the Roberson Trail which is a great hiking trail. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Bruneau River, and you can go for a hike on the Cedar Tree Trail.
