Fish Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; most of the snow falls through January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Big Chief Creek Trail; if you're here, you could also take a look at gorgeous Crater Lake. So much exciting stuff in the Salmon River Mountains, just amazing. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Johnson Creek, and do explore Middle Lake, it's a wonderful

| | lake. There's so much to do here at Fish Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Yellow Pine Campground is a tremendous location for that, and the snow is great at Brundage Mountain. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Salmon River Mountains. A good nearby hotel is Super 8 McCall, and Ellison Creek is close to Fish Lake and is always a pleasure to stop by.
