Do stop by Fish Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. The Ally Point Trail offers hiking at its best; glide down the rapids of Floodwood Creek in a kayak. At Fish Lake you can catch a glimpse of Breezy Point. There's so much to do here at Fish Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Marble Creek Campground is a good place for that. Fish Lake is one of the lakes here in the Clearwater Mountains. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a

| | good time. Places like Debbitt Basin are brilliant to go to, and paddling on St. Joe River - Marble Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the Freezeout Trail, and unsurprisingly, this is a nice area for people who like lakes, Little Lost Lake is a lake in close proximity. Kellogg is a wonderful choice, and you can stay the night at Little North Fork Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year at Fish Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it
cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Fish Lake tend to be in the 20's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Fish Lake is close to the
national average; the month with most of the snow is January; July is the month with the least moisture. That right there is plenty of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Clearwater Mountains has it all. Fish Lake is right
by the Slate-Dunn Peak Trail, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is just a very short distance away.

Lookout Pass

1935. The local ski pioneers chose Lookout Pass because of the abundant snowfall and excellent snow quality which they could access by jumping on the Northern Pacific railcars as they proceeded east from the mining towns of Wallace and Mullan, Idaho.
