This location, the Bitterroot Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Fish Lake is right by the Trout Creek Stock Driveway, and as expected Wapito Creek flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Clark Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and hiking along the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail is great fun. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Fish Lake. A lake close by is Straight Lake; going

| | for a hike along the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Not much precipitation falls here at Fish Lake; through the month of January you get the most snow around here; July is when it's the driest. So many entertaining things to do in the Bitterroot Range, not enough time. and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a great place to spend a night or two. Siamese Lakes is a nearby lake that you could check out, and there are some good whitewater spots on Lochsa River.
At Fish Lake
during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Fish Lake
dip into the 10's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fish Lake has to offer, you can camp at Ruby Creek Campground, and Foley Basin is right here at Fish Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
