Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things close to Fish Lake. On a delightful day you acquire a view of Meadow Hill from Fish Lake; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Hait Reservoir. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Fish Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in       the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Fish Lake descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Payette River - North Fork, and since you're here at Fish Lake it's a fine idea to stop by Big Creek Meadows. Paddling on Little Salmon River is so much fun. Not far from Fish Lake, you'll find Payette Lake which is a gorgeous lake; camping is available at Last Chance Campground. Now, you may                  imagine that's loads but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Hancock Dam is beautiful and it's in the vicinity of Fish Lake, and there are fine places to explore along the Granite Creek Trail. Fish Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Zims Hot Springs since you're here at Fish Lake, and there's splendid hiking along the Jungle Creek Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more cool things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Why not stop by close by Fish Creek if you're here at Fish Lake, and if you need a site to stay Whitetail Club and Resort is a tremendous choice. At Fish Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the snow falls through December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
