A visit to Fish Lake is always a good idea. So many amusing things in the Salmon River Mountains, just astonishing. Last Chance Campground is a wonderful campground here; nearby you come across the Donnelly Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Payette River - North Fork; going for a hike on the Jungle Creek Trail is always a great adventure. Fish Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains.

| | The Granite Creek Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Fish Lake, and if you need a location to stay Western Mountain Lodge is a nice choice. Through the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Fish Lake. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fish Lake. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Fish Lake.
