Many people like to go to Fire Lake. Take a hike on the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Selway River. An average amount of rainfall falls at Fire Lake; the month with most of the snow is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Clearwater Mountains. Hiking along the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail is brilliant

| | fun, and while you're here, you could also explore scenic Coolwater Lake.
Fire Lake is located in the Clearwater Mountains. Why not camp at Slide Creek Campground if you're here at Fire Lake, and you obtain a wonderful panorama of Coolwater Mountain from here. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's whitewater on Lochsa River for all you adrenaline junkies.

the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Fire Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike
along the Elk Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and camping at Fire Lake is great fun, Twentymile Bar Campground is a great local campground.
