The beauty of Fire Lake is reason enough to stop by. There's so much to do here at Fire Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Slide Creek Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and you can go for a hike on the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling close to Fire Lake is Selway River, and from Fire Lake you obtain a tremendous view of Coolwater Mountain. So much exciting stuff to do

| | here in the Clearwater Mountains, too pleasant to be true. Lochsa River is a brilliant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Fire Lake; don't leave Fire Lake without first going for a hike along the Elk Creek Trail.
Going for a hike on the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail is always a great adventure, and Fire Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Twentymile Bar Campground is a tremendous local campground. High temperatures | |

at Fire Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Fire Lake. So many cool things
to do here at Fire Lake, too tremendous to be true. There are other locations here than Fire Lake, for example Andys Lakes.
The amount of rain that falls at Fire Lake is close to the national average; January is the wettest month
with most snow; the driest month of the year is July. Fire Lake is a beautiful lake in the Clearwater Mountains.
