    Many people like to go to Finger Lakes. Through the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Finger Lakes, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Finger Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Finger Lakes, you could also explore beautiful Island Lake, and you can stay the night at Lola Creek Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all  
   the entertaining stuff in the Sawtooth Range. A splendid spot for whitewater paddling near Finger Lakes is Marsh Creek, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Brundage Mountain if you're here.
A glorious view of delightful Mount Mills is available from Finger Lakes, and going for a hike along the Prospect Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawtooth Range. Yep,
 
               outdoors entertaining things to do are really plentiful here at Finger Lakes. Ruffneck Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Blue Bunch Trail.
Hiking along the Bear Valley Creek Trail is brilliant fun; Rapid River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. So much entertaining stuff in the Sawtooth Range, just tremendous. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Finger Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Thatcher Creek Campground. Finger Lakes is a good site of normal rain; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest of the months is July.

Moderate uphill hike..couple of miles from road; classic rock wall mountain behind lake; nice place to backpack into..day trip or camp overnite; some wild life; hiked in here in summer and early spring when 1 - 2' of snow on ground (and melt was rushing down mountain side beneath snow...flowers growing in ground beneath crystal clear runoff (beneath snow...quite a site).Didn't catch any fish during August trips. Last time I was in there was the 1970's....
