The beauty of Fife Reservoir attracts many people from all around. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Wasatch Range, too wonderful to be true. Riverside Hot Springs Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Eightmile Campground is a nice place to camp. Not much rainfall falls here at Fife Reservoir; June is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. The Wasatch Range scenery is always beautiful.

| | All year is a delightful time in the Wasatch Range if you like the outdoors. A wonderful close by hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - MONTPELIER, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Bear River. This lake is so wonderful. Near Fife Reservoir you find great locations like North Canyon. Do take a look at Midnight Lake close to Fife Reservoir, it's a pretty lake; do take a hike on the Bloomington Lake Trail.

thing to do around Fife Reservoir; Midland Trail is a brilliant local trail; do visit Beaver Creek if you're here at Fife Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Line Trail, and a delightful lake like Little Valley
Reservoir is a great place to visit. High temperatures at Fife Reservoir throughout the warm months are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights
at Fife Reservoir are in the 10's.
So many entertaining things next to Fife Reservoir, truly mind-boggling. Fife Dam has delightful water scenery and it's near Fife Reservoir, and Cedars and Shade Campground is a delightful campground nearby.

Bloomington Lake Trail

...Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs.
There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge. Your can travel north or south with the south direction being the most spectacular The Highline Trail is popular with hikers, horses, mountain bikers, ATV's and motorcycles. We floated the Wayland Hot Springs to the Weston Bridge. You cannot put in downriver from the Highway 91 bridge anymore. However you can cross the highway and park and put in at the Riverside RV and trailer park. They have a boat ramp and a great place to camp. About a half mile above Squaw Hotsprings, a fence has been hung across the river, watch out that you don't snag your head, duck! After that there really is no obstructions until you get to the diverson about 2 miles above the Weston Bridge. Run this right down the middle.
This is a great family float and a nice flat part of the river for beginners.... |
