Fernan Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are good spots to look at along the English Point National Recreation Trail, and at Fernan Lake you always meet someone from Coeur d'Alene. At Fernan Lake you can make out Fernan Hill, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Coeur D'alene. The amount of rainfall that falls at Fernan Lake is close to the national average; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow,

Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Fernan Lake is so good! Fernan Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Coeur D' Alene KOA is a good local campground, and swing by Fernan Creek it's a delightful place to stop by. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do in the Bitterroot Range. A perfect location in the neighborhood of Fernan Lake is Stacel Draw; while you're here you ought to stop at Bennett Bay. a hike on the Caribou Ridge National Recreation Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and a golf course nearby is The Coeur D'Alene Resort Golf Course.
A pleasant beach next to Fernan Lake is Silver Beach, and after a long day
outdoors La Quinta Inn And Suites Coeur d' Alene is a fine place to spend a night or two. Fernan Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Fernan Lake. Once the sun
is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Fernan Lake through the winter frequently sink into the 20's.
You just must fancy the Bitterroot Range. If you came to camp
Cedar Motel and RV Park is a perfect place to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Lake Hayden. This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are splendid; and Sanders Beach next to Fernan Lake
is no exception. Lakes? Sure, Avondale Lake is around here. All the outdoors amusing stuff close to Fernan Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Go for a hike on the Leiberg-Athol Trail.

Coeur D' Alene KOA
 | This is a beautiful park that has terraced camping pads nestled in the side of a foothill on wolf bay. The spots are pretty tight and we barely had room to park our Suburban in our site (but we were one of the highest ones and those are smaller). They do have pull thrus as well. The pool wasn't huge but was adequate and not too crowded. They do have two hot tubs as well next to the pool. The 18 hole golf course leaves quite a bit to be desired. They charge $1.00 per person to play but it's in very sad condition and not worth even a buck in my opinion to play. My kids (7 and 2) however had fun just hitting the ball around.... |
