Stay the night at Sundance Village RV Park, and wonderful hiking is available along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail. Fault Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer here at Fault Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's.       Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Fault Lake descend into the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Hunt Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Fault Lake without first going for a hike along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail, and if you need a location                  to stay Sandpoint Super 8 Motel is a great choice. Go for a hike on the White Mountain Trail, and Schweitzer is a great local ski area. There's whitewater on Pack River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; the view of striking Hunt Peak is magnificent. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Indian Creek Campground is a perfect campground here, and you can run the rapids of Priest River.
