There are some great whitewater spots on Marsh Creek, and Thatcher Creek Campground is a nice campground nearby. A lake close by is Vanity Lakes, and going for a hike on the Bear Valley Creek Trail is always a nice adventure. For the duration of the warm months at F Eighty-Two Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 40's. For the duration       of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to F Eighty-Two Lake. The annual rainfall here at F Eighty-Two Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that snows the most; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. F Eighty-Two Lake is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Lola Creek Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby; there are great                  places to look at along the Blue Bunch Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Sawtooth Range. If you come at the right time of year, Rapid River offers some great whitewater, and Cape Horn Lakes is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do next to F Eighty-Two Lake.
