This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawtooth Range. Don't leave F Eighty-Two Lake without first going for a hike along the Bear Valley Creek Trail, and F Eighty-Two Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Thatcher Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. High temperatures at F Eighty-Two Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools       down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at F Eighty-Two Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lola Creek Campground is always a splendid experience, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Rapid River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawtooth Range. Good hiking is available along the Blue Bunch Trail; paddling on Marsh Creek is                  so much fun. F Eighty-Two Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is July.
