    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Emerald Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Bills Lake is next to Emerald Lake, and camping at Bear Creek Pass Campground is always a pleasant experience. An average amount of rainfall falls at Emerald Lake; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Yeah, come here to Emerald Lake for a splendid time. Best Western Hamilton Inn is a great place to get some rest.
 
   The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. This is a delightful neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Brushy Fork Lake is a lake close by; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Old Nez Perce Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Emerald Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's,  
               and nighttime lows during the winter for Emerald Lake tend to be in the 10's.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Bitterroot Range. The top of Mount Paloma is easily seen from Emerald Lake, and if you came to camp Paradise Campground is a nice location to do that. A day on the slopes of Lost Trail is just what you need, and close by you come across the South Route Old Nez Perce Trail which is a fine hiking trail.
