  This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Paradise Campground is a magnificent site to camp, and Mount Paloma can be distinguished from Emerald Lake. Don't leave Emerald Lake without visiting Painted Rocks State Park.
Not far from Emerald Lake, you'll come across Upper Bear Lake which is a lovely lake. Bear Creek Pass Campground is a magnificent local campground. Lakes? Sure, Lake of the Rocks is in the neighborhood.
This lake is
    located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. The amount of rainfall that falls at Emerald Lake is close to the national average. The month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month is July.
