Do stop by Emerald Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Emerald Lake. Emerald Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Huckleberry Campground is a perfect local campground, and get drenched paddling on Snake River. There's good hiking along the Deep Creek Trail, and Joes Gap is a wonderful spot to explore. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Not much rain falls here

The Rapid River Trail offers hiking at its best, and Horse Pasture Basin is a delightful spot here at Emerald Lake. Summertime highs at Emerald Lake usually tend to be in the 90's.
