If you are in Valley county it's always a good idea to stop by Ellis Lake. You definitely have to have a thing about the Salmon River Mountains. Camping at Upper Payette Lake Campground is always a fine experience, and good hiking is available along the Box Lake Trail. Ellis Lake is pretty dry ordinarily; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a pleasant location to get

This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Lake Creek; if you need a site to stay Western Mountain Lodge is a nice choice. Go for a hike on the Lava Butte Trail, and Granite Lake Dam is a wonderful spot. High temperatures at Ellis Lake throughout the warm months are in the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's | |

Ellis Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. Fisher Creek Saddle is a perfect place to pop by in close proximity to Ellis Lake, and there's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline
junkies. These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Black Tip can be seen from Ellis Lake, and a fine place to camp here at Ellis Lake is Hazard Campground.

just explore all the fun stuff to do right next door to Ellis Lake. There are magnificent spots to explore along the Crestline Trail; unsurprisingly, this is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes, Granite Lake is a lake around here.
