From a precipitation point of view Ellie Lake is a quite common place; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that snows the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bitterroot Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kelly Creek, and dry       warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis. Ellie Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably into lakes, Cold Lake is one of those nearby. There's so much to do here at Ellie Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mush Campground is a nice spot for that. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Clearwater River - North Fork. Ellie Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden                  Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground; if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a tremendous vista of Cold Springs Peak from Ellie Lake. Through the months of summer highs here at Ellie Lake reach the 80's; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's.
