Elizabeth Lake

All year is a wonderful time in the Clearwater Mountains if you love the outdoors. Camping at Fog Mountain Trailhead is always a tremendous experience; Old Man Meadows is a wonderful place any time of year. There's a great 7-mile-long type III whitewater section on Selway River close by, the Selway Falls to Boyd Creek Campground sector. This section of Selway River is recommended for paddlers of medium knowledge. Whitewater kayaking or rafting could turn risky,
so check circumstances in advance of a trip.
Camping is available at Shady Creekssissippi River Pools 11-22, and a wonderful place to explore is Jesse Pass.
