This sector of Payette River - South Fork is suitable for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater rafting and kayaking for a while but who are not yet ready for the really hazardous rapids. The State Highway 21 to Middle Fork Salmon portion, a whitewater stretch on Marsh Creek is 6 miles from
start to finish. This close by stretch of whitewater is a class II-III. In case you have a little bit of whitewater rafting or kayaking know-how, this portion of Marsh Creek may be a wonderful site for you.
