At Edwards Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Edwards Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much       to do here at Edwards Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Creek Campground is a fine spot for that; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Madison River. Sawtelle Mountain Resort is a nice spot to get some rest; don't leave Edwards Lake without first going for a hike along the Rock Creek Pack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Edwards Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually January,                  that's the one that snows the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You absolutely have to fancy Edwards Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 West Yellowstone, and there's magnificent hiking along the Kirkwood Trail. The landscape around Edwards Lake is dominated by the Henrys Lake Mountains, and the Cutoff Trail offers hiking at its best.
