    Do stop by Edith Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. Edith Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawtooth Range. The top of Parks Peak is easily seen from Edith Lake; there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Just can't get enough of the Sawtooth Range.
Lakes? Sure, Hell Roaring Lake is around here, and Alturas Inlet Campground is a brilliant local campground. Yeah, come here to Edith Lake for a fine time. Edith Lake is a
 
   fine place to visit for more than one day, Smoky Bear Campground is a fine place to camp nearby, and the Yellow Belly Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Edith Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Edith Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Edith Lake,
 
               you'll discover Twin Lakes which is a stunning lake, and close by you come across the Yuba River Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Edith Lake is close to the national average; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And that's not all there is to do here in the Sawtooth Range. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Bull Moose Trail.
