    In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Edith Lake is one of them. And that's not all you can do here at Edith Lake. Edith Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Smoky Bear Campground is a splendid local campground. High temperatures at Edith Lake through the summertime are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Edith Lake. The Sawtooth  
   Range scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Bull Moose Trail. There's so much to do here at Edith Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alturas Inlet Campground is a good site for that. Edith Lake gets a common amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is great
 
               on Salmon River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Bowknot Lake.
While you're here at Edith Lake you can take a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail, and one of the overriding marks of the surroundings of Edith Lake is Parks Peak. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Sawtooth Range is great! On a great day at Edith Lake you can take a hike along the Yuba River Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is a magnificent spot to do that.
