Man, is there lots of exciting things to do near Eden Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Hazard Creek, and nearby you hit upon Warm Springs Saddle which is a pleasant site to pop by. Eden Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. So much entertaining stuff in the Salmon River Mountains, just inspiring. The peak of Hard Butte can be seen from Eden Lake; obviously Jacks Creek is       a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Eden Lake you can take a hike along the Lava Butte Trail, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Broken Leg Trail. Eden Lake gets very little rain; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is July. Hazard Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and if you get bored of Eden Lake you could also pop by close by Rainbow                  Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Crestline Trail is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of Eden Lake, and you can stay the night at Grouse Campground. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. If you need a site to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a glorious choice, and Black Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. If you come at the right time of year, Hard Creek offers some nice whitewater, and a nice nearby hotel is Whitetail Club and Resort. For the period of the months of summer here at Eden Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
