If you are in Custer county it's always a good idea to stop by Eddy Lake. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Eddy Lake; Singheiser Trail is a splendid local trail, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Salmon River - Yankee Fork. Eddy Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. You're in all probability into lakes, Spruce Gulch Lake is one of those close by. It is very dried out here at Eddy Lake mostly; May is when you get
the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. You can run the rapids of Camas Creek next to Eddy Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Clarion Inn Ketchum.
