     All the outdoors entertaining things in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Camas Creek is a fine whitewater spot close to Eddy Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Eddy Lake; Singheiser Trail is a perfect local trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. After a long day outdoors Wildflower by ResortQuest is a great site to spend a night or two, and there's great hiking along the Twin Buttes Trail.
 
   All the outdoors amusing things in close proximity to Eddy Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Eddy Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Blowfly Campground is a good local campground; the peak of White Valley Mountain can be seen from Eddy Lake. During the months of summer at Eddy Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 20's; night lows through  
               the winter for Eddy Lake tend to be in the 10's. You're possibly keen on lakes, Twin Creek Lakes is one of those nearby; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River - Yankee Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Spruce Gulch Lake is next to Eddy Lake. There's so much to do here at Eddy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mill Creek Campground is a fine spot for that. Eddy Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains.
