There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Wilson River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Vineyard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Snake River offers some perfect whitewater, and a brilliant close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Twin Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Magic Mountain is a great local ski       area. Echo Lake is a splendid site to camp, Point - Sawtooth National Forest is a splendid site, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Twin Falls is a good choice. Summertime highs at Echo Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Echo Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. That right there is a load already,                  but it carries on; Echo Lake has it all. You don’t have to go far from Echo Lake to catch a sight of the water at Twin Falls Dam, and Box Canyon is also a great site to look at. Oregon Trail Campground is a magnificent campground here, and Echo Lake is not far at all from Twin Falls. Don't leave Echo Lake without first paying a visit to Twin Falls, and a round of golf at nearby Pleasant Valley Golf Course is a great way to kill some time.
