A good nearby hotel is Wingate by Wyndham Twin Falls / Jerome, obviously you could also have a look at Vineyard Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Echo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Point - Sawtooth National Forest, and if you've had enough of Echo Lake, Dierkes       Lake is close by. A short trip to Twin Falls is always worthwhile, and you can run the rapids of Snake River. Summertime at Echo Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Echo Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Echo Lake is a location that is relatively dried out typically;                  of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Oregon Trail Campground; there are plenty of people from Twin Falls here. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Echo Lake is peerless! If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn & Suites Twin Falls is a splendid choice, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Wilson River. This lake is so wonderful.
