Through the summertime highs here at Echo Lake reach the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Echo Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. There's glorious hiking along the Deep Creek Trail, and here at Echo Lake you can see Mount Belial. You definitely have to fancy the Wallowa Mountains. A splendid       site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Echo Lake is Little Salmon River. Lakes are perfect; He Devil Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Echo Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Echo Lake. Don't leave Echo Lake without first going for a hike along the Heavens Gate Trail; naturally, this is a delightful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Quad Lake is a lake around here.
