If you are in Idaho county it's always a good idea to stop by Echo Lake. If you get bored of Echo Lake, you could also visit close by Upper Cannon Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Echo Lake. | | Old Boise Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and the Seven Devils Mountains casts its shadow over Echo Lake.
There's whitewater on Snake River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Gem Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Windy Saddle Campground since you're here at Echo Lake, and there are delightful places to explore along the Heavens Gate Trail. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

You simply should fancy the Wallowa Mountains. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Little Salmon River, and a fine nearby hotel is Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge. Around Echo Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; during
the month of May you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Echo Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the
winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Echo Lake all through the winter usually drop into the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Whitetail Club and Resort is a great spot to spend a night or two.
