A visit to Eaton Lake is always a good idea. For the duration of the summer at Eaton Lake highs are commonly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Eaton Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Trestle Creek RV Park is always a glorious experience, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pack River.

is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Idaho Country Resort is a fine local campground, and if you need a place to stay Inn At Sand Creek is a magnificent choice. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Schweitzer is near Eaton Lake, and tremendous hiking is available along the Larch Mountain Trail.
