This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Duck Lake, you can go for a hike along the Granite Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Jeanette Creek, and the skiing at Lost Trail is good. If you like the outdoors, you'll like Duck Lake. Put some time aside to spend at Diablo Spring if you're here at Duck Lake; Hoodoo Lake Campground is a nice campground nearby. Through       the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Duck Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Duck Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Goat Lakes; Big Sand Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. This is a perfect area for folks who like lakes. Jeanette Lake is a lake close at hand; don't leave                  Duck Lake without first checking out Footstool Point. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Bitterroot Range is great! Paddling on White Sand Creek is so much fun; the Lee Ridge Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Stay the night at Colt Creek Campground, and the top of Diablo Mountain is easily observed from Duck Lake. Duck Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest of the months is July.
