There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you thrill seekers, and a great location to camp here at Duck Lake is Grouse Campground. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. While you're here at Duck Lake, you could also check out charming Corral Lake; if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn       Express Hotel & Suites Mccall-The Hunt Lodge, Id is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to East Fork Corral Creek from Duck Lake is painless, and why not camp at Hazard Campground if you're here at Duck Lake. Not far from Duck Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Twin Granite Dam; hiking is a popular thing to do around Duck Lake; Crestline Trail is a pleasant local trail. Hard Creek Basin is a tremendous place; there's perfect                  hiking along the Lava Butte Trail. For the duration of the days of summer at Duck Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's.
