Go to Dry Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Spanish Gardens RV Park is a brilliant location for that; Calhoun Butte can be observed from Dry Pond. Malat Draw is a tremendous place to pop by nearby, obviously you could also stop by Johns Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. | | in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dry Pond are in the 10's. Horse Springs is always fun to check out, and if you have time to spare, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. Dry Pond is commonly a relatively dried out place; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is July.
