The beauty of Dry Lake is reason enough to stop by. The warmest time of the year at Dry Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Dry Lake. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Dry Lake. Go for a hike on the Broken Leg Trail; here at Dry Lake you can catch a glimpse of Carey

California Creek Bar Campground is a magnificent local campground; Salmon River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do
in the Clearwater Mountains. There's so much to do here at Dry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Burgdorf Campground is a nice location for that; some perfect nature is available in Nez Perce National Forest. This lake
is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Vinegar Creek is a perfect local stream; you should absolutely dedicate some time to Peterson Flat since you're here at Dry Lake.
At Dry Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
