Not much rain falls here at Dollar Lake; during the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Clarion Inn Ketchum, and Soldier Mountain Ski Resort has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Dollar Lake. Dollar Lake is next to Eve       Gulch which is definitely worth visiting; why not camp at Meadows since you're here at Dollar Lake. Lakes are such calm locations, why not stop by Penny Lake near Dollar Lake, and a short visit to Guyer Hot Springs is always worthwhile. Near Dollar Lake you stumble on a golf course called Warm Springs Golf Course, and camping is available at Sun Valley RV Resort. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sun Valley Elkhorn is a magnificent spot to                  spend a night or two, and great skiing awaits you at Sun Valley. Throughout the months of summer at Dollar Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Dollar Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's.
