If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Dog Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains. High temperatures at Dog Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Dog Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wallowa Mountains. to pop by Mill Creek. So much fun stuff in the Wallowa Mountains, just mind-boggling. Upper Cannon Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; camping at Windy Saddle Campground is always a great experience. You'll wish for more
hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Dog Lake. Dog Lake is in a great location in the shadow of the Seven Devils Mountains, and while you're here, you could also take a look at picturesque Gem Lake. Dog Lake is pretty
waterless generally; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest.
