     Go for a hike on the Waterfall Trail. There's so much to do here at Doe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crags Campground is a wonderful place for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things next to Doe Lake. Good hiking is available along the Ship Island Trail, and you can run the rapids of Panther Creek. High temperatures at Doe Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures all through  
   the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Doe Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. On a gorgeous day you get a vista of Puddin Mountain from Doe Lake, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Buck Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. At Doe Lake you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. A lake nearby is Fawn Lake, and there's
 
               perfect hiking along the South Fork Trail.
Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is excellent!. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. There's whitewater on Camas Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Doe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Yellowjacket Campground. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
