For the duration of the summertime months at Divide Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Divide Lake tend to be in the 20's. Whitewater paddling is nice on Kootenai; a glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino. At Divide       Lake you don’t see much precipitation; throughout November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of Divide Lake. Near Divide Lake you hit upon the Buck Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail, and why not camp at Bonners Ferry Resort if you're here at Divide Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Boulder Mountain can be distinguished from Divide Lake, and going for a hike on the                  East Fork Boulder Creek Trail is always a good adventure. Get drenched paddling on Moyie River; the Iron Mountain Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby.
