Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Kennally Creek Campground is a great local campground. High temperatures at Dismal Lake all through the summertime are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Throughout the winter
highs are in the 30's while Dismal Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. A normal amount of rain falls here at Dismal Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
