     Dismal Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You just must love the Salmon River Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Western Mountain Lodge. Lakes are good; Bills Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Dismal Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Dismal Lake without first going for a hike along the South Fork Buckhorn Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful.
All through the summer here
 
   at Dismal Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Dismal Lake. From a rain point of view Dismal Lake is a rather common location; the month with most of the snow is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains.
 
               Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a fine location to get some rest, and why not camp at Buckhorn Bar Campground while you're here at Dismal Lake. If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy Dismal Lake. A good site to camp here at Dismal Lake is Kennally Creek Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Dismal Lake; Needles Trail is a great local trail. There's great hiking along the Kennally Creek Trail; Dismal Lake is close to Blackmare Summit which is certainly worth a visit.
Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Hot Spring is always fun to check out; get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River - South Fork.
