Summertime highs at Dike Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 30's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Dike Lake. What would a spot like Dike Lake be without interesting nearby features like Chinese Wall, and Big Boulder Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit. It is very dried up here at Dike Lake mostly; the month with most       of the snow is December, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Clarion Inn Ketchum is a great spot to get some rest. A great site near Dike Lake is The Gunsight, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Salmon River. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Dike Lake. Stay the night at Holman Creek Campground; The Kettles is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit. Dike Lake is a great place to camp, Marshall Creek Campground is                  a great place, and going for a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you get a panorama of Lee Peak from Dike Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sun Valley.
