Dennis Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Going for a hike along the Coyote Springs Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. High temperatures at Dennis Lakes during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows during the winter for Dennis Lakes tend to be in the 10's. Dennis Lakes is a good site

This lake is so wonderful. Dennis Lakes is right by the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail. Clearwater Mountains. Stay the night at Base Camp Campground, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Monumental Creek.
Hiking along the Farrow Mountain Trail is splendid fun, and if you come at the right time of year, Big Creek offers some pleasant whitewater.
