Dennick Lake is a lake worth visiting. For the period of the long summer days at Dennick Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Dennick Lake tend to be in the 20's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the neighborhood of Dennick Lake

| | has to offer. Sand Mountain is clearly visible from Dennick Lake, and the Grouse Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Pack River near Dennick Lake, and at Dennick Lake you always meet someone from Coeur d'Alene.
After a long day outdoors Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; there's wonderful hiking along the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail. | |

Stay the night at Deep Creek Campground, and perfect hiking is available along the White Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Lake RV Park is a glorious campground nearby.
Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater
of Pack River, and Bloom Creek is close to Dennick Lake and is always a delight to check out. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Schweitzer.
Dennick Lake is mostly a rather waterless spot; November is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest.
